Kevin has looked after my BMW for the past 3 years and it’s never run better!Kevin is extremely thorough and certainly knows his stuff. He always makes certain to check over my car and always keeps me informed on what needs to be replaced and what needs to be looked at in the near future, as well as letting me know what the outcome will be if not tended to. He uses quality materials and you can tell by the way your car drives after being serviced. It’s hard to find a good mechanic let alone an exceptional one and Kevin is exceptional. Would highly recommend North shore auto if you’re looking for a truly honest and reliable mechanic.

First time i've used North Shore Autocentre. Excellent service provided. Quick turn around, loan car provided and vehicle received beautifully cleaned (unexpected) and value for money. Great communication by Kevin on any further work uncovered during service. Highly recomended.

Great experience and service provided by Kevin. Problems with my door locking system and he did advise I take my business elsewhere first, as it may save me some money - goes to show a good and honest mechanic! Had to come back anyway for his expertise, sourced the parts, and got my car is back to working order in quick time for a fair price! Will definitely use you again! Cheers Kevin.

I had let my warrant go past its due date and needed action. It was great to find Kevin's website and soon my car was all set to go. I have come back a second time because my experience was so positive. With text, phone and email options Kevin let me know how things were going at all stages of the repair work and warrant of fitness. If you want peace of mind, no fuss and plain sailing, this is the mechanic to call.

I took my car in for a quote and turns out I need a whole new transmission. After speaking to the mechanic about the history of my car he gave me tips on how to take it back to the car dealer and get them to fix it. Yet to see how I go down this avenue, but he didn't even charge for the diagnosis. He is honest and genuine. I now won't go anywhere else!

Seriously impressed with the service I have received from Kevin. As usual when you do an online lead/quote request, no one gets back to you - but Kevin was on to it within 3-4 hours. The fact he personally does all the work, so knows intimately whats going on, is a real bonus. I wont go anywhere else now - especially as he found a couple of things that other mechanics said they had addressed - and hadn't. All you ever want is a decent job done at a fair price - and this guys ticks all the boxes....and no I am not related to him!

Kevin did major works on my VW. He did a stellar job on the car and I very happy with the service and his workmanship. He even requested that I bring the car back after 2 weeks so he can do a follow-up check on the car. I've found a very good, affordable and reliable mechanic, I won't be look elsewhere. This was my forth visit to see Kevin. I was once again delighted by the quick turn around and the excellent communication he maintains. Peace of mind is always important. My car is now healthy and powerful again. Driving away from Kevin's I also notice the difference if the car's performance, It's a good things the motorway is nearby. You would be unwise to look past North Shore Autocentre.

I have used Kevin for all my cars since moving out to NZ. It is rare to find a mechanic so genuine, trustworthy, honest and helpful. I always know his work is of the highest quality and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him to anyone. The cost is always reasonable and much cheaper than a BMW garage for the same level of service.

Kevin has fixed our car when other garages couldn't even diagnose or find the problem. He was extremely helpful and communicated with us all the way, provided excellent service and support throughout. Given the level of work that was undertaken and the safety issues that were highlighted (missed by others), we have the utmost confidence in Kevin and would highly recommend him for servicing Volvos. Thank you again for such good service - went to get a WOF after another nearby mechanic could not do one. He found my automatic transmission recently flushed had not been completed correctly and tightened it up for me. He also explained a few mechanical issues and what it meant which is nice if you know nothing about cars. Will be taking my car services here from now on!

Kevin is a really genuine honest guy. I've used his service for about 3 years now. I once took my car in because it was feeling strange, he loaned me his courtesy car for the day, and when I came back he said there was no fault...and didn't charge me anything!. Kevin is professional, friendly, thorough and I found him to have very high standards with his workmanship . He clearly explained what he would do and what he did and messaged me options along the way which I liked. A very clear communicator which can be hard to find sometimes. He did a great job on my car and now it runs like a rocket. Kevin also gave me great advice on how to look after my car with things like oil, tyre pressure etc. 5 stars!

My car was making those embarrassing loud squeaky noises (the kind that make you wish all your windows were tinted) so I took it to Kevin down at the North Shore Autocenter. He'd had a look and suggested changing the drive belt to start off. I ended up mixing up the dates for my appointment but Kevin took me in despite that drama (sorry Kevin!). He also checked all other parts of the car that could have been responsible for the noise after changing the drive belt to make sure things were running quiet. I've had no issues since. Thanks again for squeezing me in Kevin! Would definitely recommend!! :D
